Garbage collection and disposal is a crucial problem in urban localities of Pakistan. Mostly people are unaware of issues related to garbage disposal due to lack of awareness, education as well as unavailability of proper resources. this cause them to throw garbage on streets, front of houses as well as in any open space.
To solve these issues we will provide smart tech based solution for garbage collection and its safe disposal and recycling. It will also educate common citizens about segregation of garbage at house hold level. Also they will be able to send request to garbage collectors and give him (optional) advance information of how much and which type of garbage they have.
To make garbage segregation easy, we will provide three different colored biodegradable bags to each house hold. App will help them to know the each garbage type. Further the smart truck, have tablet installed in it with internet connectivity, over which notifications will pop up about households and their house locations with garbage details. Smart truck will have proper staff with safety track suit (not like the usual ones who uses hand cart to collect garbage with bare hands and susceptible to disease) who will put garbage in its designated compartments of truck.
why people will use it?
They will get points on the basis of active use of app and proper segregation . A household who manages to get good points will be given perks and benefits on different food & shopping outlets. His/her data will be registered in a govt. data base where he/she will get "Good Citizen" points.
